Steam, Valve's new content delivery program, is the only program you will need in order to play Team-Fortress-Classic (and any Valve game available). Steam will automatically install and keep all of your favorite Valve games up to date. So what are you waiting for? Grab Steam and start playing TFC!

1st you have to download the Steam-Install: (click on the following link)

After clicking the button above, select the option to 'Open' the install program. Then follow the instructions on your screen.

• Windows 98, ME, 2000 or XP
• 64 MB RAM
• 400 Mhz processor
• 1GB HD space (recommended)
• Internet connection (broadband connection recommended)

After you installed steam, you have to put on your Steam Account.

Click on "Create A New Account...".

Now follows a little info-text. Click on “ok”.

So, now you have to provide an account name and a password.

Importantly: You have to notices both!

Maybe the name is already assigned, so you have to take a similar name, or you click “back” to enter a new one.

Now you have to enter a valid E-Mail address.

It continues with the secret question. You have to absolutely notice the question and your answer! Should you sometime forget the password, you need both to request the password to your E-Mail address.

Now an overview comes, in which still the account name, the password and the E-Mail is indicated.

The side can be printed out also, so you can stow away the data surely.

After that the registration is settled.

Now you have to register your key!

Run Steam and click on "Browse Games"

The following window will open:

Now click on "Regiser a product I already own.."

After that, you have to enter your Half-Life Key.

Now steam will check your key and usually release it.  Click on "Play Games" and it comes a small overview of the Mod’s which you can play with our key.

The registration with Steam and the registration of the key are now final.
